About GreekLink
We build the chapter appofficers wish already existed.
GreekLink replaces the GroupMe threads, study-hour spreadsheets, Canva flyers, and three-tab Google Forms most chapters glue together every semester. One workspace, built for the way Greek life actually runs.
Origin
Started at a single chapter house in Boise.
GreekLink began the way most useful tools do — someone running a chapter got tired of running it on six different apps. The founder was a fraternity president at Boise State, juggling member contact info in one spreadsheet, study hours in another, event RSVPs in a Google Form, announcements in a GroupMe nobody read, and flyers half-built in Canva at 1 a.m.
Our chapter wasn’t disorganized — it was just spread across too many tools. Once I sat down and counted, we were paying for four products and using none of them well. I figured if I had this problem, every officer in the country had it. So I built the thing.
The first version was wrong. We threw it out, talked to officers from IFC and NPC chapters across a dozen schools, and rebuilt it with a sharper opinion: a chapter app should feel like one product, not seven.
Timeline
How we got here
Feb 2024
Idea sparked
A chapter-president frustration session over the third missed meeting in a row.
Apr–Jul 2024
Defined the surface
Talked to officers across IFC and NPC to figure out what was actually broken — turned out everyone had the same five problems.
Aug 2024 – Jan 2025
Reset and rewrote
Threw out the first MVP. Restarted from scratch with a sharper opinion on what a chapter app should look and feel like.
Feb–Jun 2025
Built the core
Geofenced hour tracking, role-gated channels, polls, AI flyers. The surface that actually replaces spreadsheets.
Oct 2025
App Store review
Submitted, reviewed, approved on the first pass — small win.
Nov 2025
Launch
Live on the App Store. First chapters onboarding from the founder’s home campus.
Today
Growing one chapter at a time
Adding the things real officers ask for. Every roadmap item below this line came from a chapter, not a focus group.
What we believe
Four things we won’t change.
Officers, not vendors, run chapters.
We build tools that disappear into a treasurer’s Sunday-night workflow. If the app gets in the way of running a meeting, we’ve failed.
Privacy isn’t a feature.
Member data stays scoped to the chapter. Nationals see what officers explicitly share with them. We don’t aggregate or sell anything, ever.
Pricing scales with the org, not headcount.
Flat per-chapter pricing. Big chapters pay the same as small ones for what matters; tier ceilings adjust feature limits, not member counts.
Built with chapters, not at them.
Every meaningful feature has a request thread behind it. We’d rather ship the boring thing officers ask for than chase a flashy one no one needed.
