Child Safety & CSAE Standards

GreekLink is committed to protecting minors and has a strict, zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including any form of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to all use of the GreekLink platform, including chats, events, media uploads, organization content, and user profiles.

Intended Audience

GreekLink is designed for college-aged and adult members of fraternities and sororities. The platform is not intended for children under 13, and we expect all users to comply with applicable age requirements in their region.

Zero-Tolerance for CSAE & CSAM

The following content and behavior are strictly prohibited on GreekLink and will result in immediate enforcement action, which may include account suspension or termination and reporting to relevant authorities:

  • Creation, sharing, requesting, or distribution of any content involving sexual abuse, exploitation, or endangerment of minors.
  • Possession, promotion, or sharing of any form of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including images, videos, or written depictions that exploit minors.
  • Grooming, solicitation, or attempts to coerce minors into sexual activity, sharing of intimate content, or other exploitative behavior.
  • Organizing or promoting events, chats, or activities that involve or enable sexual exploitation or abuse of minors.

Reporting CSAE Concerns

We encourage all users to report any content or behavior that may involve CSAE or put minors at risk. You can report concerns by:

  • Using in-app reporting tools where available (for chats, events, and user-generated content).
  • Emailing our safety team directly at support@greek-link.com with details and any relevant screenshots or links.

Reports related to CSAE are treated with the highest priority and are reviewed as quickly as possible.

Enforcement & Cooperation with Authorities

When we become aware of potential CSAE or CSAM on GreekLink, we will:

  • Promptly review and, where appropriate, remove the reported content.
  • Suspend or terminate accounts involved in CSAE-related behavior, in line with our Terms of Service.
  • Where legally required or appropriate, report suspected CSAE and CSAM to relevant law enforcement and child protection organizations.

We may preserve and share information with law enforcement to support investigations into CSAE and to help protect victims.

Additional Safety Measures

To help prevent CSAE on the platform, GreekLink may implement a combination of:

  • Human review of flagged or reported content.
  • Technical safeguards and automated systems to detect abusive behavior.
  • Restrictions on certain media types or features when misuse is suspected or detected.

These measures are continuously evaluated and may evolve over time to improve the safety and integrity of the platform.

Questions or Concerns
